Ak\u00e7ay, 50 d\u00f6n\u00fcml\u00fck arazisinde ilk \u00fcr\u00fcn olarak B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediyesi\u2019nin y\u00fczde 75 hibeli deste\u011fiyle s\u00fct otu yeti\u015ftirdi. S\u00fct otunun hasad\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan ayn\u0131 araziye ikinci \u00fcr\u00fcn olarak silajl\u0131k m\u0131s\u0131r eken Ak\u00e7ay, \u015fimdi m\u0131s\u0131r hasad\u0131 ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiriyor. B\u00f6lgede kapal\u0131 devre sulama kanal\u0131n\u0131n tamamlanarak devreye al\u0131nmas\u0131yla birlikte tar\u0131m arazileri d\u00fczenli ve g\u00fcvenilir sulama imk\u00e2n\u0131na kavu\u015ftu. Sulama imk\u00e2nlar\u0131n\u0131n olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00f6nemde ayn\u0131 araziden y\u0131lda yaln\u0131zca bir \u00fcr\u00fcn alabildiklerini belirten \u00fcreticiler, sulama sisteminin tamamlanmas\u0131yla ilk \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn ard\u0131ndan ikinci \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc yeti\u015ftirebiliyor. B\u00f6ylelikle hem topra\u011f\u0131n \u00fcretim kapasitesi art\u0131yor hem de \u00e7ift\u00e7inin ayn\u0131 araziden elde etti\u011fi ekonomik de\u011fer y\u00fckseliyor. Sulama imk\u00e2nlar\u0131n\u0131n artmas\u0131, kurakl\u0131k endi\u015fesini de azalt\u0131rken \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin geli\u015fimine olumlu katk\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor.
